Watch out for MSG - 621

Hello

This is a call for peace - at this time when there is so much violence in our world, we invite each of us to create "peace in our own patch!" It is time to create the peace at home, in the workplace, in your own environment.  This seems to us to be the only way we can help peace spread across the planet.

Take time out every day to remind those around you how much you love them.  Also remember to love yourself!

Leave the politics alone at work or in your social circles - let them dissipate through lack of attention - if someone hurts you or disturbs your space, let it go - don't hold on to the aggravation .. allow it to blow away.  We must learn from the bamboo.. how to bend in the wind - learn from those who taught to turn the other cheek, to avoid conflict by just not being there when the attack comes.  For attack breeds attack, fight creates fight.

Let's start now here at home and create peace.

Best wishes to you all

WATCH OUT FOR 621

MSG-Induced Obesity

MSG is injected into laboratory rats to induce obesity.  It also has been shown to increase appetite in male rats and to induce obesity in female rats and chickens.   Scientists in Spain have recently concluded that MSG when given to mice increase appetite by as much as 40%.

It is very sneaky - and is put into many foods with many disguises. The number to watch for on packaged foods is 621.

For a little light relief!!

Three women die together in an accident
and go to heaven.
When they get there, St. Peter says, "We only have one rule here in heaven: don't step on the ducks!"
So they enter heaven, and sure enough, there are ducks all over the place. It is almost impossible not to step on a duck, and although they try their best to avoid them, the first woman accidentally steps on one.
Along comes St. Peter with the ugliest man she ever saw.
St. Peter chains them together and says, "Your punishment for stepping on a duck is to spend eternity chained to this ugly man!"

The next day, the second woman steps accidentally on a duck and along comes St. Peter, who doesn't miss a thing. With him is another extremely ugly man. He chains them together with the same admonishment as for the first woman.

The third woman has observed all this and, not wanting to be chained for all eternity to an ugly man, is very, VERY careful where she steps.
She manages to go months without stepping on any ducks, but one day St. Peter comes up to her with the most handsome man she has ever laid eyes on ... very tall, long eyelashes, muscular, and thin.

St. Peter chains them together without saying a word.
The happy woman says, "I wonder what I did to deserve being chained to you for all of eternity?"

The guy says, "I don't know about you, but I stepped on a duck!"
